Privacy policy
Many WebTools features run in your browser and do not send your input or output to our servers (e.g. encoders, JSON beautifier). Others use remote APIs (e.g. DNS lookup) or require the server when you use account-related features.
Data we may collect and store
- Browser (local storage) — If you use the site without signing in, preferences (e.g. layout mode), saved templates, favorites, and navigation history can be stored only in your browser. We do not read or transmit that local data.
- Account and server-stored data — The site may offer authentication. If you sign in, you can choose to upload and save your data (e.g. requests, templates) on our servers. That data may include sensitive content if you decide to save it. We process and store it to provide the service and in accordance with this policy and applicable law.
- Logs — When you use features that call our or third-party APIs, we or the provider may log requests (URL, timestamp, IP). We do not log the body of your requests for client-side-only tools.
Analytics
We may use analytics (our own or third-party) to understand how the site is used — for example, visits, pages viewed, or general usage patterns. Analytics may collect identifiers such as IP address or device information. We use this to improve the product and do not use it for advertising. You can often limit tracking via your browser or privacy tools.
Cookies
We may use essential cookies for session, authentication, or security. Analytics may set additional cookies. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies for WebTools core features.
Third parties
Links to external sites (e.g. Daimon) are outside this policy. Their privacy practices apply when you leave WebTools.
